Voicescape

Another project done in vvvv, this time for the Exhibition ‘Selective Perception and Dimensional Fragments’. It is supposed to transform the human voice into a virtual landscape and thus revealing the structure of speech to ones visual sense. Since the human brain is better trained to analyze structures visually than auditory, the own voice can be explored in a more analytic manner, rather than an emotional one.

The images show a few analyzed samples of what has been said on the evening of the exhibition.

Facts:

A video of the actual installation at 7×3 gallery will follow soon.
In the meantime check out this capture of a test run.
